CASSINI/HUYGENS

Credit : Cassini Imaging Team, Cassini Project, NASA

During its passage near Jupiter in December 2000, the Cassini spacecraft observed the planet with the red spot which seems to look at its satellite Ganymede (bottom right). The small details of the clouds have a size of about 250 km. The clear ovals correspond to high pressures, the darker ones to lower pressures.
