UNDERSTANDING

After a descriptive tour of the solar system, we propose to understand the purpose of astronomical researches :

- to see the usefulness of positional astronomy for the ephemerides and the calendars,

- to explore some fundamental concepts and methods used in astronomy,

- to know more about your knowledge of some bodies of the solar system,

- to see the knowledge of the solar system through the history of astronomy,

- to use the present site for learning and teaching.
