The launch of Voyager 1 at the Kennedy Center in 1977.

Voyager 2 was launched on August 20, 1977, followed by the launch of Voyager 1 sixteen days later. Today these probes have left the solar system. Voyager 1 passed the Pioneer 10 probe and is now the most distant artificial object from Earth.

We continue to communicate with the Voyager probes and we could be able to keep in touch until 2030.
