The space adventure > Cassini/Huygens II
Launched on 15 October 1997, the Cassini spacecraft first approached Venus to use its gravitational potential, returned close to Earth in August 1999 to use the same gravitational force from the Earth to be propelled up to Jupiter (arriving in December 2000), which in turn will propel the probe to Saturn. The arrival, originally scheduled for October 2002, took place in July 2004.
