Sunset on the day of Spring equinox

On that day, the Sun is on the celestial equator. It is then at the zenith for the equatorial areas. Days and nights have the same duration everywhere on Earth. The Sun will rise and set at the same time North and South of Paris. Th Sun will set earlier for cities East of Paris and latter for cities West of Paris.
