EXOMARS

This ESA/ROSCOSMOS program brings together two missions to Mars whose goals are the analysis of the Martian atmosphere (origin of methane) and the search for past or present life.

The first "ExoMars 2016" probe was launched in March 2016 and arrive to Mars in October of the same year. It also included a landing probe "Schiaparelli" which unfortunately crashed on the surface of the planet.
The second probe "ExoMars 2022" "is scheduled to be launched in 2022 and carry a 300kg rover to the surface of Mars.
