    The year 2000 has four partial eclipses, this eclipse being the third. It bears the number 7634 in the canon of Oppolzer and belongs to the series of Saros number 155 of the canon of eclipses of Mucke and Meeus. It was visible at the north pole, to the far North of Europe, Asia and North America.
