APOLLO MISSIONS

The first mission to the Moon was Apollo 11. The orbit was calculated using the laws of celestial mechanics. They had to escape Earth's gravity and use much weaker than Earth's gravity lunar gravity. The return to Earth uses the Earth's atmosphere for braking the Apollo spacecraft.

The following missions will be longer but the principle of the trip is still the same.
