SATELLITES OF NEPTUNE

Neptune has a set of satellites grouped, like the other giant planets, into distinct families:
 
- a large satellite Triton (I) a large satellite Triton resembling the terrestrial planets. 
- small satellites close the planet inside the orbit of Triton (III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII). 
  - an outer satellite  : Nereid(II). 
- very small outer satellites (IX, X, XI, XII et XIII).
