SATELLITES OF URANUS

Credit : NASA/JPL

Uranus has a set of satellites grouped, like the other giant planets, into distinct families :

- large main satellites (I, II, III, IV, V) that look like the other icy satellites.  ;
- small satellites close to the planet inside the orbit of Miranda (VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV, XV).
- small outer satellite (XVI, XVII, XVIII, XIX, XX).
